Actually, I am hoping for inflation. And the Fed probably wants it too. The only way AG can bail out with any amount of respect is if there is inflation going forward.

If there is deflation, then we are all pretty much screwed -- whether we are in small stocks, or large stocks, or growth stocks, or value stocks. Only the long-bond will be the ideal investment. Even mild deflation can be terribly ruinous. It can easily push individuals, families and corporations into bankruptcy.

Those who think deflation is wonderful have no idea what they are wishing for. In today's economy, deflation = depression. As simple as that.

Let's all pray for a little inflation. AG will appreciate that, for sure!
