Why are you defending the very rich? They already have their representation buying $1000 a plate smoozes with political leaders. Why don't you try defending something that needs defending, like the environment, the ill, handicapped people or anyone in need. I repeat, the rich come from all over the world to live in the US because it's a tax haven for them. They laugh when conservatives say the US rich pay too much in taxes. And the rich have so many tax write-offs they never-ever pay nearly 30-40%. Are you rich? Well if you are you have ever paid 30% or more you need a enw accountant. 20-25% is their real tax rate with all the write-offs, and those include private jets, ski trips to Aspen to "talk business", servants and staff, trust funds for the kids, face-lifts, real estate, and if GW has his way oil-drilling.
