Hi Dipy,

Over the years, megatrends overide the fear injected into people who have been ravished by the extremes of the market's greed and fear.

None the less, long term growth will accompany the technologies that provide faster for less. It feeds on itself during the downturns, and assures it's continuance thru concepts based on Moore's law and the relentless benefits of continuous improvement.

The marketplace realities offer more for less and that appeals to Americans.First to those who can afford the novelty of paying a premium and then ultimately to the mainstream, as innovation reduces price and volume drives affordability to almost all those who are workers i.e. cell phones and p.c's.

To extrapolite the demise of a leader in technology just because the bubble of overvaluation popped, is to endorse the very same incorrect emotions of greed that "justified" the excessive valuations- except it should appropriately be labeled fear.

There is in all things a balance - to me you don't seem capable of accepting a fair value at any price.

Please excuse my directness - but if incorrect,at what price do you feel JDSU sitting on 16 billion dollars and no debt and a leadership role in placing photons thru fiber optic cable becomes fairly valued - viewing future earnings with say a 12-18 month time frame?

Bob
