Bacon Island encompassed by Majors! The latest information indicates that the Bacon Island gas prospect is encompassed by three major companies--Amerada Hess, Enron & Texaco. All three are very interested in our upcoming drill program. Texaco has even offered to contribute some of the drilling costs in exchange for a look at the drill logs. More likely though will be an exchange of information, our drill logs for their 3-D seismic. So the play continues to intensify, and the market should soon follow. Dale
