That would be both unethical and illegal, but since Mr. Greenberg has
explicitly denied the poisonous rumors spread by some Iomegans that
he shorted they stock (in fact, he says he has no positions of any
kind in any stock, nor family trusts, nor stock in the name of his
children, etc), if you wish to keep asserting this, be aware that you
could be sued for libel and defamation." (Post#4134)

Scott,

Didn't know that I may have opened a can of worms when I mention Mr. HG.
Where does Mr. HG explicitly denied that he has any position in any stock?
Can we read it?

I would be the first in line to apologize to Mr. Greenberg if I helped to
perpetuate untrue statements about him - not because I am afraid of
being sued for libel, but because it's just not right. I do not have high
regards for Mr. HG from his past actions, but I certainly wouldn't want to
get in the mud with him and some other media folks of questionable
characters.

I got the info that Mr. Greenberg shorted IOMG and AMTX from reading AOL
and SI posts. Since the information posted there are often quite accurate,
I assume that is the case here. But these is certainly a possibility that all those
posts may have contained incorrect information about Mr HG.

Still, if he had no self-serving motives, I wondered why Mr. HG was
so relentless in his negative coverages of IOMG in the past. And when he
was so obviously proven wrong by IOMG, he never acknowledged his errors.
(I wonder how many IOMG shorts and bullls have lost big money because of
the relentless attacks by Mr. HG.)

As to your comment: "That would be both unethical and illegal," I couldn't
agree more. But the facts clearly showed that this sort of things is rampant
on WS, and if Mr. HG had shorted AMTX and IOMG as some posts indicated -
I don't think it's considered abnormal behavior or illegal in the eyes of WS
veterans. The SEC only have the resources to go after the big fishes with
deep pockets and astronomical gains from illegal activities -- not little fishes
like Mr. HG.

Media folks will never get in trouble with the SEC as long as they hide
behind their "expert opinions" and avoid touching facts or do indepth
analyses in their columns - where accuracy can be challenged.

Below is a post from AMTX Investor threat. Do you think this person is
lying? I must admit that I never talked to Mr. HG, so I do not know for sure.
