why has XICO been running? Seems their last report was not so cheery..... "In the near-term, we are not immune to the difficult issues facing our industry and their impact on financial performance. Our plans for the second half of 2001 consider a continued inventory correction and overall weak demand for semiconductors in the communications sector, including the fiber optic area. In view of these concerns we are taking specific actions to control costs. We believe that our actions are prudent and provide for the least disruption of our selling effort."
