Ibexx,

Thank you for the Briefing.com item.

In 1995, Sherlund embraced Netscape, and then did a 180 on MSFT (his former darling) for failing to describe to him instantly how it would address the Internet.

As we now know, since then Netscape has become the uncontested master of the Web, while Microsoft has been relegated to the dust-bin of history. Or something like that.

It appears that now Mr. Sherlund is talking out of both sides of his mouth [perhaps as a result of an earlier pasting?].

I scooped up a nice bunch of MSFT during the 1995 panic period. Ah, yes, I remember Rick with a special fondness for the gifts he delivered.

Too bad he is now punchdrunk, and without his former clout - otherwise, it would be bargain time in June.

Best regards,
Arno
