Ish,
The demo/libs seem to forget that the Governor of the State of Texas does not have anything to do with the trial, and punishment, of criminals in the state. That guy was tried, convicted, and sentenced, by a jury of his peers (any jury would have been far above such scum, really). Bush is doing well, under so adverse conditions, so they have to do a masterful job of nit picking to find any justified complaints.
Besides, what is, or is not, a juvenile, changes with the times. In the old west males were men at 14, and were punished for crimes as adults, which was usually hanging. Then in the 30s, and 40s, males didn't seem to become men until, at least, 21. Now it is swinging back the other way. Guys of 15, and 16, are robbing banks, invading homes, and killing at the whim of a gang. Why should they live at the expense of the taxpayer, in virtual luxury, compared to how they were living on the outside? Since Texas does not, yet, have life without possibility of parole, there is a big chance that they will get out, and be worse criminals than before they went in the pen.
