been watching Takeshi's castle - it's a hot summer-in-the-city holiday day here in Germany, waiting to cool off a little to go to beer garden - and looking at the helmeted samurai kids teetering over slippery slopes, stepping over (and falling over) rotating drums, falling into holes, I realized this may very much look like our/Geas path through the phase space.

Nobody can tell if the changes in the working point (defined by atmospheric conditions and their geographical distribution, sea temperatures and their distribution etc etc) are a) reversible and b) leave the system within a linear response range.

Re CO2 in the oceans - to take this as an example - what is a chance that some change dX does not cause a bigger than ever-expected puke-up of CO2 and methane and and..., disolved/sheltered away undersea.

Im not paranoid but I'd rather be safe than sorry. The only method for me at least to fight these risks is the approach the insurance companies are taking - get as many facts as possible and keep opinions out of your hair, they will neither write nor pay your bills -.

ps: euro over 90c - 91.05 and climbing
