At school, before I dropped out, the teacher used to say to us that the Amazon Jungle was the 'lungs of the world'. Well, not my lungs. Mine take in O and exhales CO2. This is a 4.5 billion year old planet. It went through a hell of a lot of change and will continue to do so, with or without us here. We are expendable. (Just wait until the Sun decides its time to go Brown Dwarf. OK, it is 5 Giga years in the future). But now we see those weirdoes calling to freeze in the state it is in. This thing here was made to go those Milankovic cycles and intercylces and can take a couple of degrees with no sweat. Why? Simple. Because of the 'Air-conditioning' system built-in: More heat? More clouds, more rain, more snow. more surface white more heat reflected to space and so it goes. One have to get the whole damn planet wobble a little its axis and then wait a good couple of thousands of years to seek some effect. But come on! Telling that the gas that cows fart is going to melt the ice cap and other crap doesn't fly with me. Of course this has to be made complicated. How could the VIs a.k.a common man be persuaded to contune funding the cushy jobs of the researchers?
