I was looking at the relative interest rate of Euro, Swiss Franc and the USD, and thought about the relative merits of the underlying economies and the offshore speculative and longer term demand for the currencies, and feel that Greenspan would require balls to cut beyond 0.25%. If so, and if he is not willing to cut beyond another 0.25%, he might as well not cut the 0.25%.

Greenie needs the ECB and BOE to cut, cut, cut along with him. Japan cannot help more than it already has, other than printing paper, in which case it is not actually helpful.

Let's just watch this dance of elephants.
