Presidents have "handsoff" policy toward Fed historically they are powerless most of the time to influence Fed Chairmen by law the Federal Reserve is set up to be fully independent their mistakes are misunderstood, overlooked, left alone history is the only true arbiter what I find most absurd is that the legal setups were originally to protect the Fed and its Chairmen from political interference nowhere do citizens have provisions to protect from incompetence at the Federal Reserve !!! and their incompetence is replete over the decades their mere existence goes counter to the sheer power and beauty and effectiveness of the free market system what do you suggest? a nationally televised tongue lashing? I personally suggest a formal impeachment of GreenSlime GreenGeriatric is inept, loaded with heretical principles, arrogant, and having way too much fun playing with his "World Economy Erector Set" / jim
