Hi Frank,

My guide to buying gold stocks usually consist of companies that are; debt free, cash in the bank and massive reserves that are located in North America, Canada preferably I agree with you 100% on a fundamental basis, but IMO, one can wait a long time for the fundamentals to kick in, only to be negated by the prevailing current market sector sentiment.

I own ECO as well, I agree it is very speculative, as are most other Gold stocks in my portfolio. However, I have made the decision to have exposure to certain Gold stocks that are cross-listed on a U.S. exchange, in order to benefit from the higher value that U.S. investors place on a perceived 'favoured' sector.

Regards,
Peter
