Daniel, you have demonstrated only that there are particular niche markets for alternative operating systems. By the same token, you could install an alternative phone system in your own neighborhood. But that doesn't mean that there was a "free open market" for telephone networks before deregulation.

There is no free open [broad] market for operating systems as long as the "network effect" and the proprietary nature of the WIN32 SDK conspire to prevent competition. This is as obvious to me as it was to the District Court and the unanimous Appeals Court.

Stop the whining and build a better (and cheaper) product if you can.

Cheap shot. Why don't you build a better (and cheaper) judicial system? The current one just doesn't see it your way.
