An example of put selling and rolling forward:

I originally sold 8 VTSS July 20 puts for 2.40. Closed for 1.90 ($422 profit) and rolled forward into Aug 20's for 3.40. Closed those for .75 ($2052 profit), and rolled forward to Sept 20's for $3.10 ($2451). If stock is put to me, I've lowered my cost basis from $20 to $13.80. However, my plan is to keep rolling forward as long as I can...
