I would agree that they clearly "care" less about the chipsets than CPUs.

Maybe they like the fact that there is more choice in DRAM for P4 customers.

Hah! Hooo! That's a good one.

Maybe they are obliged by Rambus contracts to not grant licences but have no obligation to sue if someone produces without licence.

Now that would be unusually generous of The Bus company. But I thought INTC has already sold licenses to Sis, AKi, et al...?
