By calling environmentalists "whackos" you discredit your entire argument, get dismissed and make yourself look like a whacko. You would lose your case in court immediately talking like that. Your thinking is not educated nor does it sound emotionally stable.

Responsible environmentalists are by no means whackos. Just the opposite in fact. Okay maybe there are a few at the extreme fringes who get publicity but most are serious, intelligent, concerned devoted hard-working people who give their lives to preserving our rare natural wonders and get almost no financial reward for their hard work.

Try and have a little respect for some of the heros of our society. You apparently don't understand them so go to the Sierra Club web-site and start reading. You'll feel better. And before you give 100% support to farmers vs. wildlife explore both sides of the story. I'm sure you will find rightful arguments on both sides as two competing needs struggle to resolve a drought-related water issue.

You'll also find that "the government promised" is either not true or some long out-dated deal when resoces were plentiful which is no longer realistic or feasible. Sad but true. And the way to resolve that is in court not by trying to demonize and kill off innocent wildlife. Besides, farmers are used to surviving through bad years with government assistance. But salmon and eagles just die.
Best for all is is everyone survives to live and flourish another day. Wildlife is not the enemy. Usually it's greed and mismanagement, as well as in this case the weather.
