I am neither serious nor thoughtful, but I showed up. BEAS and EMC aren't doing so hot today either. I think it has partly to do with the item that came out yesterday reporting that Janus had dumped a lot of its holdings in SUNW, EMC, CSCO and ORCL. There's news about the billion $ IBM push into Linux on the wires that says it might be more competition to SUNW. I think as part of the billion $ XP launch spinup there's already an increase in the level of Itanic/Wintel-eating-Sun's-lunch background hiss. Then there's always the little list of side issues: the economy shows no particular signs of recovery, Sun has done nothing of note lately except lose money, and everybody expects the market to tank in September and October. Other than that, I can't think of anything. --QS
