Hello All: While doing more research on horizontal drilling, I revisited the IMMM essay on oil exploration at the web site and found at the conclusion the following link which goes into detail about the Austin Chalk deposit that UPR must have been working in. Hats off to Bryan for keeping us up to date. Any experts out there know if the Colorado formations are as amenable to horizontal drilling as the Texas chalk formations?
