Changing the subject I have a Question What effect will the fed have on the market next week? Anyone believe that a 1/2 point cut (a)can happen (b) will have a positive effect on the market and (c) will have a postitive effect on the economy? I am assuming most of us believe a 1/4 point is coming and there will be no appreciable effect on the market. That is the conventional wisdom at any rate. Call me a dreamer but i am beginning to buy into 1/2 and that it will jump start the markets which in turn will jump start the economy sooner. mike
