Hummingbird is providing the industry-based TDWI audience with a preview of the market- leading features that will be available within version 5.0 of its data integration platform.
Genio Suite is Hummingbird's universal data exchange solution that transforms, cleanses, enriches and directs information across the entire spectrum of decision-support systems and enterprise applications. With Genio Suite 5.0, organizations will generate even faster return on investment as this latest offering of universal data exchange incorporates easier deployment and testing facilities, wider source and target connectivities and superior productivity and performance, guided by a new user interface and enhanced graphical design capabilities.

Genio Suite 5.0 enhances targeting and extraction of data including XML data formats, native connectivity to SAP and expanded provisions for native mainframe connectivity. In addition to the current support for Oracle, Sybase and Teradata Multi-load and Fast-load bulk loaders, Genio Suite 5.0 also speeds data loads into data warehouses and data marts with the addition of new natively supported bulk loaders including Teradata's TPump loader, MS SQL Server loader and IBM UDB loaders.
The overall productivity and performance in Genio Suite 5.0 is also now improved with the addition of a new set of implementation tools that include a Graphical User Interface that allows faster and easier navigation, as well as a centralized administration console, Genio Administration Manager, which integrates all administrative tasks into one single tool.
