Somewhat OT--Mainly because I can't think of anything to contribute to predicting the future of ANY stock.

Seems that killer apps need not be high tech, E.g, air conditioning changed the demographics of the US and will change the world. The whole South and Southwest would be climate-hostile without it. The movie and restaurant business was dramatically changed. Technically, AC was well within existing technologies-- a refrig and a fan. If someone could see the implications at the time, and had VLT money to invest, they would be doing better than I am right now.

I wonder if AC will change Equatorial Africa, Northern South America and SE Asia even more?

Are we expecting too much from tech?
