Somehow I remember reading a few months back that the new ultrabrites would open the door to stoplight use for SiC, as the new enhancements removed any brightness advantage of Sapphire and we all know the rest of the advantages of SiC. Since Cree sells through manufacturers for incorporation into their products, it is not always easy to track down...but I know someone will remember the earlier references. I will also try to do some research.
