Chris, it could be SA worries as long-gone says, but I've noticed in the past that SA golds tend to lag at the start of a rally and catch up later. Also, it seemed that the more leveraged of the SA stocks (like DROOY) moved up later. OTOH, I haven't been paying close attention to those in the past couple of months. With the wider discovery of the "niche" golds, the pattern may have changed.
