Real bear markets, like real bull markets tend to move beyond what anyone would expect. So if it gets momentum it could go down much farther. Remember irrational exuberance began in 1996. The Dow was at 6000. Bubbles usually give back all the gains and more. The question is when will this happen? 1-5 years from now. Who knows?
