Palo Alto Trader....
Steve,

Hope will always keep me alive....hopefully with some advice from people like yourself, I will not only stay alive, but will prosper.
I have made it through two years as a trader, survived (or at least surviving) the bear market, and now I feel it's time to move up in my apprenticeship....
While I might use some fundamental analysis to lead me to a stock, at that point the technicals take over.
With some of the books I have read earlier in my short career, I have formed the opinion that I have no desire to be an investor, and that while I don't believe TA can be used to look too far into the future as some might, I do believe it is very valuable short term....the shorter, the more effective.
I will continue to read, study and absorb....and hopefully ask questions from some of you when I can't find the answers elsewhere. I know there are a lot of links on this thread to answer many questions....but I believe the market environment has changed dramatically since many of those posts were written
(as well as much of what I have read) and I would like to know how many of you not only survive, but adapt in this environment....and I have many ,many more questions, and I don't expect answers right now...
I am just trying to get acquainted and let you know there is
someone who is enthusiastic, wants to learn, and is willing to listen...

Thanks for the response

Scott
