Excardog - perhaps the longs are celebrating and the shorts are out commiserating.

An AGA of 3 is very very significant IMO. It raises allot of doubts and implies what the demand can be with the new generation online.

Seems there are lots of nukes having troubles this week. It could be interesting. The wave of new gas turbine plants coming online is just getting started. With at least a 20% efficiency advantage they will displace a pissload of #6 oil burners throughout the South.

I have been crunching the EIA electric production data and fuel consumption data for the areas with highest oil consumption in 2000. I still have some work to do, but as long as gas does rise much over $4.5 this Winter I suspect there will be allot more NG burned this Winter. i.e. lots of oil burners cold iron.
