New York, Aug. 15 (BridgeNews) - The 3.44 million barrels of oil scheduled to be repaid to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in September probably will mean the U.S. will be more dependent on crude imports to maintain stocks at 300 million barrels and could help push NYMEX crude prices to $29 per barrel, said Aaron Kildow, a senior energy analyst for Prudential Securities.
