AWSJ: Who's News: PCCW Unveils Senior Appointments Dow Jones Newswires

Pacific Century CyberWorks announced a corporate reorganization, including several new senior appointments designed to enhance the company's drive to become a customer-led integrated communications provider.
Effective immediately, the telecom-services sector will be split into two groups based on client segmentation: commercial and consumer. Aloysius Lee will lead the commercial business. Currently president, group sales, Mr. Lee will serve in a new capacity as managing director, commercial group.
Rita Hsu, who recently joined PCCW from Chase Manhattan Card, has been appointed managing director, consumer group. Both Mr. Lee and Ms. Hsu will report to William Cheung, PCCW's group chief operating officer, who also has assumed the role of managing director, PCCW-HKT Telephone.
PCCW also announced that Roy Wilson, currently managing director of the telecom services sector, will be appointed nonexecutive board chairman of Corporate Access (HK) and Beyond The Network, both subsidiaries of PCCW. In this new role, Mr. Wilson will concentrate on strategic initiatives and business-relationship development, with a special focus on North America.

Taps Dan Currie
Commerce One, an electronic-marketplace company, named Dan Currie vice president, business development, for the Asia Pacific region. He will be based in Singapore. Previously, Mr. Currie was Commerce One's vice president for global sales support.

Darren Adams
Concord Communications, a market leader in services that maximize the performance and availability of the Internet infrastructure, named Darren Adams managing director for Asia Pacific and Japan. He will be based in Sydney. Mr. Adams was formerly regional sales and marketing manager for Australian information-technology-services provider Solution 6.

Richard Moh Joins
Snap Appliances
Snap Appliances, a unit of Quantum Corp., and maker of Snap Server, the industry standard in workgroup network-attached storage appliances, appointed Richard Moh as director of Asia Pacific field operations. He will be based in Singapore. Most recently, Mr. Moh served as partner development manager for EMC Computer Systems where he was responsible for managing the midtier storage market in the Asia Pacific.
