NHTC - Viagra for Women?? 444% Revenue increase for the quarter!

Very interesting...

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 2001--

Subsidiary, Lexxus International, Expected to Contribute Approximately $10 Million in Revenues from First Six Months of Operation

Natural Health Trends Corp. (OTCBB:NHTC) announced today that it plans to report record revenues when it files its 10Q with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Company, which anticipates reporting net revenues over $13M for the first six months ended June 30, 2001, compared to $5M the same period last year, attributes much of its success to their majority owned subsidiary, Lexxus International, Inc.

The Company will report second quarter revenues of $9.8 million for the period ending June 30, 2001 compared to $1.8 million in revenues for the same period the previous year. The Company also announced that they have consolidated 6,000 shares of preferred convertible stock to approximately 2,000 shares.

"We are pleased to announce the improved revenues for the first six months of 2001 and believe the increase in revenue figures support our business model of acquiring and starting network marketing companies as our industry enters consolidation and reinforces our commitment to building and retaining a premiere distributor network and providing a long term income opportunity for our distributors," said Mark Woodburn, President of Natural Health Trends.

When asked in an interview last Thursday (Aug. 9, 2001) if the company would be requiring any additional funding in the next twelve months, Mr. Woodburn told The Wall Street Network, "The Company is generating cash flows sufficient to cover operating expenses and show a nice profit. We are using that profit to expand in our existing markets and to open new markets world wide," (You can hear the complete Wall Street Network interview on NHTC's investor relations website, www.invrel.net/clients/nhtc). "As we expand into additional global markets, the Company would only seek to raise additional funding should we come across an acquisition or merger that would not detract from the Company's current business model," he concluded.
