Today I bought a EagleTec 256MB type1 CF card for HK$980, or US$126 for my Nikon D1x camera. That's less than 50 cents per MB. I'm pretty sure it contains four 0.18 micron 512megabit NAND flash chips, probably manufactured by Toshiba. If its controller is also made by Toshiba, it will outperform SanDisk's card by a mile. robgalbraith.com vinland.com
