Dipy,

Sort of like how it was back in February/March of 2000 when going long in stocks was for aggressive investors, and Conservative investors who thought the markets (and in particular Nasdaq) would go higher were best served by simply staying away! I understand of course!

I was talking to a hedge fund manager a couple of days ago, and he was telling me the markets will definitely go lower - much lower - and basically had the same pessimistic negative views as yours. I asked him if he was going to short the market. His response was: In a ham and egg breakfast, the chicken is involved and the pig is committed! And then said, even though he felt the markets would go lower, he did not want to be a pig on someone's breakfast plate by comitting himself to the market via shorting it at this time!! :)
