No, you are a supreme idiot when you believe a person of mixed race to be a bigot. No, I will never agree to socialism or our attempts to compete with its use in Canada, that makes me no bigot, only wise. Socialism is always wrong because it denies a just profit to a group or the whole of society. Bush supports free market valuations of the dollar and everything else, far from what was seen from Clinton Gore. We are now headed for parity with the Euro. When Bush came in the Euro was valued at $.852 Today it is $.91. Yes, gold has weakened from those days when we knew not whom the President would be, but that is only the norm. In Canada much is the presence of socialized medicine provides a subsidy to everything, more so to those industries which are more dangerous - the lumber industry. Then there is the subsidy given to their entire rail system, the only rail subsidy in the US is AMTRAK(other than reailroad retirement). Thus the only subsidy to the broad rail system of the US is the minimal rail usage fees paid by AMTRAC.

Only a fool or liar would deny the impact of transportation costs on all wood products. Yes, their non passenger rail subsidy has been cut by %60, but why should the US timber companies(From CA & WA to MA & NY) compete against C$170- million-a-year subsidy in transportation + "In Canada, there were basically two transcontinental railways serving almost the entire country from coast to coast, the largest of which is still owned by the government of Canada".

Supporting a tariff to assure an even break for our timber industry in light of these (& other)Canadian timber subsidy makes no one a "bigot", it rather makes them only fair.

If hatred of their baby communism makes me a bigot when seen from your red socialist eyes so be it! ALL Freedom is based on a free economy!
