Albert,

re: You, for some reason, view it as anti-intel. It is negative for amd, intel and the indistry

Pricing 25% below Intel's prices was / is a positive for the industry?

What goes around comes around; live by the sword, die by the sword, all those sayings seem to apply. AMD has been happy to have as a goal to lower the ASP in the industry. That's been their policy for years.

Intel found itself in a position where it needed to stimulate demand, and AMD just happened to sitting at marginal profitability, because of their -25% policy.

Now we hear complaints from AMD and it's supporters about price wars. If AMD had been concerned about industry margins when things were going well, we probably wouldn't be scraping the bottom at this point. We would probably be coming down from a higher level.

I don't view it as anti-Intel, it's just the way things have played out.
