johnd, Summer tends to be a slow to poor period for techs, so I am inclined to wait and watch to see if some some significant bargains arise. The analyst's consensus figures on MSFT earnings from about a year ago are off on the low side so much, cumulatively to date and when projected ahead, that I consider them to be virtually worthless, except for the fact that they sometimes scare the market into giving us buying opportunities. If the current pullback on MSFT had been larger, I would be buying some [I might anyway, depending on how strong the overall market appears to be]. Regardless, there are other fish ....
