JH Just based on what I have read and what I think. 1 - One of the recent reviews mentioned that SanDisk is supposed to come out with new, faster cards any day now. So it appears this has been on the drawing board for a while. 2 - I feel pretty confident that at least 80%-90% of digital camera consumers out there could care less about write speed. Do consumers ever think about 'write' speed when it comes to your standard 3.5" floppy disk? No? Well I submit that's how much they've thought about write speeds. 3 - As for cost/performance ratio, two observations: a) being neither the lowest cost producer nor the highest performer doesn't mean you can't have the most attractive ratio, and b) I have no idea whether SanDisk is lowest cost or not - I don't know which company has the best margins, though if you have some numbers we'd all appreciate them :) Andre
