Jim, Thanks for the details on the meeting. The 10K details the current and past private placements. In looking further into Dictaphone's choice of the Intel minicard it occurs to me that this co. may not want to have an open, backward compatible architecture. Most of their customers are on long contracts with full or partial maintainance agreements. They would not want these contracted customers to go to the outside market for components, ie. recorders, flash memory clips, etc.. The Intel cards are software dependant and Dictaphone can maintain a captive audience by management of the OS software. This would be very different in the camera industry in which co's. would want universal flash memory backward compatibility. This would be analogous to the standardization of film for all cameras of the same film format. To attain that openess the Camera co's. with removable flash capabilities would probably opt for SanDisk's architecture which is software independant and more easily backward compatible. I believe that various co.s (EK, HWP, Philips, Sony, etc.) will choose flash architecture based on their specific markets, cost, etc.. They will choose the OS they need based on functionality, cost of design updates, etc.. What is important for Norris shareholders is to realize that our OS works with all current types of flash, Nor, Nan, Di-NAn, and CompactFlash. It is also able to do much more with a removable flash medium than other OS's and our patents cover that option.
