Hi Gersh: the same argument you use for the roads applies to roofs - with additional bonus, that you dont have anybody driving on them (mechanical), that these installations generate energy close to its destination (cheaper delivery), that they are easier to finance (the owner and not some state profits from the installation) etc etc. Re color, have a look at some greeting cards from south - Greece for instance.
