<< 1)neither amd nor intel should worry about anything else but their shareholders 2)AMD needs minimum market share to be competitive and if drives industry margins down so be it 3)if intel feels that it needs to be at higher than 70% market share to be competitive then it does not say much for their belief that their products would remain competitive >> I somehow doubt that it'd be good for Intel to give up 10% more market share, and allow their biggest competitor to gain a strong foothold in the market. I think long term, they're much better off defending their market share.
