Actually, that ain't nothin compared to this one from the WSJ Opinion site:
In 1998, Washington's WJLA-TV reports, two Frederick County, Md., sheriff's deputies, believing Frederick Moore IV was drunk, chased his truck for nine miles, broke the truck's window, doused him with pepper spray, beat him with a baton and set a police dog loose on him. He turned out to have been in diabetic shock.
Now the cops, Eric Winer and Jeffrey Norris, are siccing lawyers on Moore. They're suing him, "contending his complaints about the incident hurt their careers," WJLA reports. We heard about this on Overlawyered.com. |
