So what does this mean for your EDVC shares? I have some
EDVC, bought 7/5/96, for which my broker lists the price
of 0.0000, sitting in my account. Do I have to declare
it a total loss for some tax year (1997) and write it off?

Why was EDVC still trading after the ex-date, given that it
was known that any shared purchased after the ex-date would
become worthless?
