"Can you elaborate on where you draw the line?" There are many folks who have been convicted of felonies and been to prison who are now productive, contributing and honest members of society. He paid his debt. It is a mistake to continually excoriate someone who made an error in judgement years ago if that person is now different. One reason there is such a problem with recidivism in this country is because people like you won't let folks get another chance. "do you think that probation is just some imaginary concept that the government dreamed up as a way to persecute him?" I'm going to ignoire this idiotic question. "There's no such thing as "well they did it, so I can do it" rule that I know of in the legal system. " I never said there was. But it sure looks to me like you've dug up a parking ticket.
