Roads do reduce the world's albedo (reflectivity) but all those forests that got cut down and replaced with grain and grass increased it much more. If someone can find a way to exploit roads to collect solar energy economically that would be a good idea. Remember that a lot of that heat is also lost back to space during the night. BTW global warming isn't due to the heat released by burning fuel which seems to be what you were saying if I understood correctly. Albedo is a key factor and the composition of the atmosphere and hence the temperature it net reradiates to space are key factors as I understand it. Burning fossil fuel generates neglible heat compared to the incoming solar radiation.
