Tony, re:IBM - AMD relationships have come a long way this year, at least as perceived on this thread, from IBM being a near slam dunk to adopt AMD's MP solution to, well, who needed them anyway, for anything.

IBM's PC division does everything half-ass. They announce using AMD chips, then put them in only a few Aptiva's. They adopt 1/3 of the DELL model, selling only on the internet, but farm out their production so they can't have a low inventory to sales ratio, and they don't increase their advertising to consumers. So how did they expect to sell PC's on the internet and by phone if no one every hears about them?
