Ford to Cut About 4,600 White-Collar Jobs in U.S., NYT Reports

Dearborn, Michigan, Aug. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Ford Motor Co. will cut about 4,600 white-collar jobs, or 10 percent of its white- collar workforce in the U.S., through early retirement, the New York Times reported, citing unidentified people close to the company.

This is exactly what Steve Roach was writing a few months ago in "Cutting white collar bloat". And those were well paid people who most likely were investing in stocks. Buyers beware!
