Welcome, Slacker. Always glad to have another Q stalwart show up on the cc4d board <gg>.

If you read through the archives, you may come to a different conclusion.

Reread my post....realized that it probably wasnt the best way to introduce yourself to the thread (understatement), though their are so many familair faces that it seems like a cross between G&K and "Coming into Buy Range". I've actually been lurking along since the beginning. Thanks to all of the many posters who have shared their experiences....I will try to stop mooching and do the same ;-).

Some background...I have been selling the occasional CC on my Qualcomm position. It is in a taxable account so I definitely have to worry about being called. I have been pretty conservative and have generally sold calls against only a small portion of my position (usually ATM).

However, I do have to say that the frequent success of the members of this board has tempted me to increase the frequency of my sales (why didnt I sell the Aug 65's???). I keep trying to remind myself that a run like Qualcomm saw last Dec. isnt really unusual. In hindsight, it is easy to realize that you should have let the stock go and rebought for much cheaper....but I doubt the decision seems very easy at the time. My comment with regards to the lack of repair strategies was basically a comment on the success of the board creating a lack of opportunities.

Just my perception....
