Digging through my files, found the high for the NYSE TRIN-10 to be above 1.80 on several troughs in 1974. The main difference is that A/D line was confirming the TRIN in 74, whereas the A/D line is making highs in 2001. Hence, the next phase of the bear market would probably require both to be in gear, perhaps next year.
