Of course. I have acknowledged that Jock made a good call on LSI when he got out in early 2000. My comments were more about how whenever the "the next CSCO/INTC/MSFT" stuff comes along, things always seem to go wrong for both the "leader" and the "new leader" stock.

This is not a new phenomenon. There were a lot of "the next IBMs" in the 60's and early 70's. They all invariably blew up. And though IBM itself survived, it underperformed the market for decades. It is quite possible that the same will happen to CSCO, INTC and MSFT going forward.
