Not just VGNX. SG Cowen has decided it must downgrade "technology platform biotechs" because "investor focus on creation of tangible value may cause stocks of such companies to underperform over the near-to-intermediate-term (sic)". Also mentioned/downgraded were CRA MLNM GZTC SQNM. Somehow managed to refrain from emailing them a list of other "technology platform biotechs"... <g>
