The more they buy back, the tighter the control. There may be more here to this than "shareholder value". This is an extremely interesting development. They (Simon, Penny Trusts, et.al.) pretty much already can do what they want, but being PUBLIC, are open to scrutiny and FULL fiscal disclosure...now if they WENT PRIVATE ?
I picked up more of this SUB ONE DOLLAR(I know, I must be crazy) purely as a spec. buy. If they execute like they say they are going to and the competition keeps thinning and the RBOC's start buying more product and they can whittle down their inventory and, and, and...just one more minor point, where are they getting the CASH to repurchase the common shares? Did I miss something on the balance sheet this last quarter?
